Job Description

As a NetSuite Finance Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and assisting our clients through the successful implementation, optimisation, and management of NetSuite's financial suite of solutions. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients to deliver tailored solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and visibility into financial operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

• NetSuite Implementation & Customization: Lead the full implementation cycle for NetSuite's financial modules, from requirements gathering to design, testing, and deployment.
• Client Consultation: Analyse client financial processes and workflows to design tailored solutions within NetSuite that address specific business needs.
• Financial Process Optimization: Help clients streamline and optimize their financial operations using NetSuite, focusing on accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, revenue recognition, and budgeting.
• Training & Support: Provide training to clients on best practices for using NetSuite, ensuring smooth adoption and user proficiency. Offer post-implementation support to resolve any issues and enhance system usage.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and integration with other business systems.
• System Integrations: Assist with the integration of NetSuite with third-party applications and external systems (e.g., banking systems, financial reporting tools).
• Stay Up to Date: Keep current with new releases and updates to NetSuite, ensuring clients are benefiting from the latest features and improvements.

 

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with NetSuite ERP, specifically in the financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting).
• Consulting Experience: Proven experience in a client-facing consulting role, ideally in the implementation of financial software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Financial Processes: Strong understanding of financial operations, including accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• NetSuite Certifications: NetSuite Financial User or NetSuite ERP Consultant certification is a plus.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Dutch language proficiency is preferred to facilitate effective communication with local clients.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies, including agile, to lead projects effectively.
• Team Player: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
