German-Speaking NetSuite Consultant (Financial Background)

We are seeking a talented and experienced German-speaking NetSuite Consultant with a strong financial background to join a partner. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in finance and accounting along with your proficiency in NetSuite to deliver consulting services to our German-speaking clients.

NetSuite Consultant Responsibilities

1. Client Consultation and Requirements Gathering: Engage with German-speaking clients to understand their business objectives, financial processes, and system requirements. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify opportunities for leveraging NetSuite to streamline operations and drive business value.
2. NetSuite Configuration and Implementation: Utilise your technical expertise to configure and customise NetSuite modules according to client specifications. Design and implement solutions that align with best practices and regulatory requirements in the German market, ensuring compliance with local financial standards.
3. Financial Process Optimisation: Collaborate with clients to optimise financial processes within NetSuite, including but not limited to, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting. Implement automation and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
4. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Develop custom financial reports and dashboards within NetSuite to provide actionable insights into business performance. Assist clients in analysing financial data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions based on real-time information.
5. Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide hands-on training and support to clients' finance teams to ensure they are proficient in using NetSuite effectively. Transfer knowledge on system functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques to empower end-users.
6. Project Management and Delivery: Lead NetSuite implementation projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and operations to ensure successful project outcomes.
7. Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, NetSuite updates, and regulatory changes affecting the finance and accounting landscape in Germany. Continuously expand your skills and certifications to enhance your expertise as a NetSuite Consultant.

Qualifications

1. Fluency in German: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German are essential for effective client engagement and documentation.
2. Financial Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Solid understanding of financial principles, processes, and regulations, with experience working in a finance or accounting role.
3. NetSuite Expertise: Proven experience implementing and configuring NetSuite ERP solutions, with a focus on finance modules. NetSuite certification(s) such as SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, or Administrator is highly desirable.
