Job Summary
As an IFS Manufacturing Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive ERP solutions within the manufacturing module of IFS Applications. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique business needs, provide expert guidance on best practices, and aid with the upgrade to IFS Cloud, configuration, and optimization of the IFS Manufacturing module. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and extensive experience with IFS Applications.
IFS Manufacturing Consultant Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to gather detailed business requirements, understand their manufacturing processes, and identify opportunities for improvement using IFS Applications.
- System Configuration: Configure the IFS Manufacturing module to align with clients' business needs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Customization: Develop custom solutions within the IFS framework to address specific client requirements that are not met by standard IFS functionalities.
- Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training to end-users and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption and operation of the IFS system.
- Process Optimization: Analyse and optimize clients' manufacturing processes using IFS Applications to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation for all aspects of the IFS Manufacturing module implementation, including process flows, configuration settings, and user guides.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest updates and best practices in IFS Applications and manufacturing trends to provide cutting-edge solutions to clients.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in IFS Applications with a focus on the Manufacturing module.
- Experience with IFS Cloud
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in IFS Manufacturing module configuration and customization.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production planning, shop floor control, and inventory management.
