Job Summary
As an IFS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the IFS Applications suite. You will work closely with consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand requirements, develop technical specifications, and implement solutions that enhance the functionality of IFS Applications. Your role will involve both new development and ongoing system enhancements to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
IFS Developer Key Responsibilities
- Development: Design and develop customizations, extensions, reports, and integrations within the IFS Applications framework to meet specific business requirements.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and optimize existing IFS Applications, ensuring smooth operation and high performance across all modules.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to IFS Applications, working to resolve them promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IFS Consultants, Business Analysts, and end-users to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver solutions that align with business needs.
- Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between IFS Applications and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Testing & Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of customizations and enhancements to ensure quality and reliability before deployment.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all customizations, integrations, and system configurations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest IFS Applications releases and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance system functionality and performance.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience working with IFS Applications in a development role.
- Proven experience in developing custom solutions within the IFS Applications framework.
