IFS Application Manager Job Overview

As the IFS Application Manager you will play a pivotal role in the maintenance and subsequent optimisation of the IFS platform. You will collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to understand their business needs, design solutions, and implement enhancements to ensure the smooth operation of the IFS System.

Your expertise will be crucial in driving process improvements, streamlining workflows, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the IFS environment.

Key Responsibilities as an IFS Application Manager

  • Engage in the deployment and ongoing enhancement of the ERP system (IFS).
  • Provide support to internal users.
  • Assume responsibility for fundamental application support. (1st/2nd level)
  • Manage user and authorisation roles through roles and groups.
  • Specify, and when necessary, create or modify reports, evaluations and forms.
  • Independently oversee and advance the IFS system's interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with key users from various departments.

Requirements

  • German: C1+
  • English: B1
  • Experience in IFS ERP Applications is essential (Ideally 3 years+).
  • A understand programming and a good understanding of interface processes.
  • Adept at working with databases and SQL, HTML.
  • Experience with Power Bi would be an advantage.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of user management and authorisations within the realm of IFS ERP.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
