Getting a NetSuite implementation right first time is a tough job, and many will know how crucial some of the work done post go-live is to its success, as without proper support and training, even the most sophisticated systems can falter.

Here’s how we helped a client recover their NetSuite project through expert NetSuite support.
The Requirement
Before reaching out to IT Works, the business had carried out their implementation in 2021 but without adequate post-go-live training and expertise, lacked the support needed to improve and maximise their NetSuite system. This resulted in a solution not tailored to business requirements, and a number of issues affecting business across 5 of their international sites, at which point they turned to us for support.
The initial advisory call entailed a discussion regarding where their NetSuite setup needed optimisations and improvements. We sought to understand their support requirements and were interested in knowing their options for the upcoming project. The expert to be brought in was required to design, customise and improve the system.
Main Objectives

- Customise the system to their business.
- Ensure system was running efficiently across all 5 sites.
Project Progress
We introduced 5 different candidates who each had specific but wide-ranging specialisms & backgrounds who could ultimately support the project. After careful consideration, a shortlist of 3 candidates were interviewed within a 72-hour turnover.
With feedback provided promptly, a trusted expert with years of experience a catalogue of successful implementation projects (one we’ve worked with previously and built a relationship with) was hired on an initial 12-month contract with the view to extend for a further year dependant on project progress.
The Delivery
Within the first 6 months of their arrival, the company has seen vast improvements and ultimately created a plan of action for key stages of the upcoming project process. This plan is set to improve and support company growth leading to increased revenue and further expansion plans.
Their long-term plan is to bring on permanent netsuite resource to which we’ve already worked with them to plan out their resource strategy. Sat down with end-user to discuss and work on a longer-term basis.
