We're looking for a Senior Microsoft Lync Consultant to join our team, responsible for providing expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Lync (now Microsoft Teams) solutions. As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with clients to understand their communication needs, architect solutions, and lead deployment projects to ensure successful implementation and optimization of Microsoft Lync solutions.
Senior Consultant Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and assess communication infrastructure.
- Design, plan, and implement Microsoft Lync solutions tailored to client needs.
- Lead deployment projects, including installation, configuration, and integration with existing systems.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to Lync deployments.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and IT administrators.
- Develop documentation, including design specifications, installation guides, and user manuals.
- Stay updated on Microsoft Lync (now Microsoft Teams) updates, features, and best practices.
- Provide post-deployment support and optimization services.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Lync solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Lync (now Microsoft Teams) architecture and features.
- Experience with Lync integration with Active Directory, Exchange, and other Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or equivalent certification preferred.
