IT Application Engineer (IFS) Job Description

As an IT Application Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for the Finance and HRM departments. You will maintain close contact with these departments and provide support in the use of their business application, IFS ERP.

You will be required to analyse issues, register them and solve malfunctions in their service management tool, TOPdesk.

In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing change requests, including preparing test and implementation plans. One of the exciting projects you'll be working on is the IFS Cloud migration.

You will not be working in isolation; instead, you'll be part of a team of eight colleagues who will provide support and assistance. Together with the team you will ensure the optimal utilisation of the company IT platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to internal users.
  • Assume responsibility for fundamental application support across the business.
  • Manage user and authorisation roles.
  • 1st and 2nd level support.
  • Engage in the deployment and ongoing enhancement of the ERP system (IFS).

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Dutch and conversational English is a minimum requirement.
  • Experience with IFS ERP Applications (Ideally 1 year+).
  • Proficiency in general IT knowledge and functional management.
  • Demonstrable professional experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with an ability for problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset alongside the capacity to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Finance and HRM processes would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of TOPdesk (or similar), would be beneficial.
